Manchester United is set to play against Crystal Palace on Sunday in the absence of Portuguese Star Cristiano Ronaldo. The big Sunday evening clash will be the first game for Manchester United under the management of interim manager Ralf Rangnick. Ronaldo who forms part of the main team has been claimed to miss the big game.

According to latest reports, Ronaldo picked up a knee injury during the 3-2 win against Arsenal on Thursday night. Ronaldo got injured while celebrating his second goal of the match at the 70th minute after putting Manchester United inform through a spot kick. Ronaldo who has been consistent for Manchester United throughout th season could yet start on the bench or miss the whole game and even upcoming clashes for Manchester United.

However, the extent of the injury is yet to be revealed despite the news being made by the club during pre-match press briefing. Manchester United will be facing Crystal Palace for the first time this season with the Red Devils looking to extend their win after beating Arsenal in their previous Premier League clash.
