Mai Mahiu: Video of Locals Rushing To Siphon Fuel From Overturned Tanker Irks Kenyans

On the afternoon of Tuesday, December 7, Kenyans on the interwebs foresaw an imminent tragedy in Mai Mahiu after locals were seen rushing with containers to siphon fuel from an overturned tanker.

In the clip shared by, among others, former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko, the visibly excited residents are seen making haste for the commodity as they make returns carrying with them more containers.

Concerned Kenyans were irked by the ignorance portrayed by the residents given the tragedies that have befallen the country out of accidents involving oil tankers.
