The percentage of adults identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender (LGBT) has increased over the last few years. This is hardly surprising, considering the increase of gay and trans rights conversations in the media. The increased coverage rightly corresponds with more people coming out.

Colton Lee Haynes is an American actor and model. He was married to lover Jeff Leatham, but the two split up after just six months in marriage. The Teen Wolf actor and Arrow star got engaged to his partner in March 2017 and married shortly after, with the wedding being officiated by Kris Jenner.

The two met through a mutual friend, Serena Williams, and started dating shortly after the actor came out publicly. He publicly came out as gay in an interview with Entertainment Weekly in May 2016.

Haynes revealed that he had concealed his sexuality based on advice from entertainment industry insiders who told him that being open about the topic would hinder his career.

The Spectre actor announced how happy he was to have tied the knot with his boyfriend, Mark Bradshaw, in 2013. They met in 2009. Ben is known for keeping his personal life private.

The Bedfordshire-born actor was forced to speak openly about his sexuality after the press started probing into his private life and his civil partnership with Australian composer Mark Bradshaw in 2013. He tries to avoid thinking about how others perceive his sexual orientation.

The Prison Break star came out as gay in August 2013. He has no specific relationship, but he has been linked with celebrities, including Kristoffer Cusick, Marriana Klaveno Amie Bice, and Mark Liddell. He is currently dating actor Luke McFarlane.

Miller had avoided questions about his sexuality earlier, but he came out openly about his sexuality, which left his fans shocked. At one point in his life, he tried to kill himself for being gay.

The Modern Family actor started dating Justin Mikita in 2010. After marriage equality passed, they were able to plan their wedding in New York in 2013. They have maintained a homosexual relationship for a long time, and they even have a growing baby together, who they welcomed on July 7, 2020. The two met at the gym while in Equinox when Mikita was still a law student.

During an interview, when asked what her take was about their age gap, Holland said that it’s their age gap that actually makes their relationship work. Taylor has expressed how shocking it was to see the world tune into her love life.

Portia De Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres met in 2000 at a party and dated for eight years, tying the knot in 2008. They are one of the most iconic LGBT celebrity couples in Hollywood. The Scandal actress celebrated her 10th anniversary in 2018.

During a joint interview with Oprah, De Rossi told Oprah that she knew she was in love with DeGeneres from the first time she saw her.

Wanda Sykes is a Hollywood actress and comedian. Wanda was married to Dave Hall, but she got away from him because she said that she was unhappy in the Union.

She then married her wife Alex Niedbalski, a French woman whom she says she fell in love with her the first time she saw her. Wanda has been married to his wife for 11 years. The two met while on a ferry to the New York Gay resort Fire Island.

She captioned it with the message, “can’t believe I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife.” Ellen says that she regrets not having come out early. She suffered for years because she was afraid to disclose her sexuality.
