Kenya’s celebrated female pilot, Captain Irene Koki will fly the inaugural Kenya Airways non-stop flight to the United States on October 28th, with President Uhuru Kenyatta being among the passengers.
The Kenya Airways pilot, Irene Koki, become very famous after landing at The Jomo Kenyatta International Airport as the first captain of the airline’s fourth Dreamliner.
She is also Africa’s 1st B787 female captain. Last month, she was awarded by the ministry of tourism as being the “Winner 2017 Africa Top Travel 100 Women.”
The direct flight to New York will depart from JKIA at 11.25 PM EAT on 28/10/2018. It is expected to land at the iconic John F Kennedy International airport at 6.25 am the following day.
